11651.12_lifestyle1

Part Numbers: 11651.11, 11651.12

The new Rugged Ridge Body Armor rocker guard kits are constructed from impact resistant polycarbonate, protecting the factory Jeep rocker panels from scratches and scrapes with trail obstacles or road debris, while allowing you to cover up your pinch weld for an off-road look. Mounted using Rugged Ridge supplied automotive grade 3M acrylic tape, these rocker panels guards are an easy way to customize your ride. In addition, matching rear corner guards (PN 11651.09 and 11651.07) can also be installed for maximum protection.

Wheel Spacers and Adapters

15201.14

Part Numbers: 15201.14, 15201.15, 15201.16, 15201.17

These black aluminum wheel adapters and spacers form Rugged Ridge let you install wider tires onto a wide variety of vehicles. They move your wheels out to help fit wider tires and give your vehicle a wider track and improved stability. Constructed of double anodized black extra thick 6060 1T6 aluminum for long life and extra corrosion resistance. All hardware is Grade-8 for extra strength. Adapters allow different bolt pattern wheels to be mounted while spacers simply space the wheel and tire further away from the frame.

20 Inch XHD Wheels and Wheel Protectors

15306.01

Part numbers: 15306.01, 15306.02, 15306.03, 15250.04

The XHD Wheels offer a direct bolt-on replacement. The new design is hub-centric so the wheel precisely centers itself which in turn allows for less wheel vibration and more control. In addition to minimizing wheel vibration, the design also avoids clearance issues for brake rotors, steering components and suspension travel found in other wheels.

Across America in a jeep GPW

Rick Péwé, Editor-In-Chief at Petersen’s 4-Wheel & Off-Road, has embarked on a journey across America in his 1943 Ford GPW. He started on the west coast, and is driving all the way to the Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival in Butler, PA. Rick is a member of the Off-Road Motorsports Hall of Fame and has been a Jeeper since the first flat fender GPW he purchased when he was 15 years old (which he still owns).

Rick’s first stop along the way was the 60th Annual Jeepers Jamboree at the Rubicon Springs Trail. Rick participated in the trail rides in his GPW, and despite a couple of small issues here and there, this trusty old jeep lasted the entire event. To support Rick on his cross-country journey, we sent him tons of OMIX hard parts and replacement parts to keep the GPW going.

After the Jeepers Jamboree event, Rick hit the road toward Butler, PA to attend the Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival. He’s taking US highway 50 most of the time, and has been updating periodically with some great photos and stories. We will also be out at the festival, so if you’re there swing by to say hello, check out our new products, and see this GPW for yourself!
